Tinder is seeking a Performance Marketing Manager to lead user acquisition and enhance brand perception in Japan. The manager will analyze key performance indicators such as Installs, CPI, ROAS, retention, and LTV to drive insights by geography and audience. Collaboration with media and strategy teams for budget allocation and optimization, along with supporting A/B testing for creatives and landing flows, are also key responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital metrics and full-funnel analysis, with proven success in managing large budgets and complex initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Must Have
- 5+ years experience in performance marketing
- Strong grasp of digital metrics (CPR, ROI, ROAS)
- Proven success managing complex initiatives
- Hands-on experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager
- Strong analytical skills with Excel/Google Sheets
- Fluent in Japanese and English

Job Description
What You’ll Do
- Reporting to the Head of Japan, with a dotted-line report to the Regional Media lead, you will lead the online marketing strategy for Tinder in Japan, aligned with brand and global HQ guidelines.
- Manage reporting for app acquisition campaigns across Google (UAC), Meta, and other mobile platforms.
- Update and maintain campaign performance dashboards for Japan in partnership with media agencies.
- Analyze key KPIs (Installs, CPI, ROAS, retention, LTV) and help drive insights by geography and audience cohort.
- Collaborate with the media and strategy teams to support budget allocation, optimization, and localization efforts.
- Ensure accurate attribution setup through MMPs for app journeys.
- Support A/B testing on creatives, targeting, and landing flows; track test results and recommend improvements.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years’ experience in performance marketing at a top tech or gaming company in Japan or media agency managing large-scale budgets
- Strong grasp of digital metrics like CPR, ROI, ROAS, and funnel KPIs
- Proven success managing multiple complex initiatives with strategic focus and operational excellence
- Hands-on experience with platforms like Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and mobile attribution tools
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
- Comfortable working with large datasets and presenting insights in a structured manner
- Strong understanding of full funnel metrics
- Ability to prioritize for maximum business impact in a high-velocity environment
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a team-first mindset
- Fluent in both Japanese and English
