Job Description

The PMO's primary role is to establish and maintain operational management standards, processes, and best practices for the Thales Naval Ramp-up, ensuring efficient execution. The PMO supports the Director Operations Naval and coordinates with other projects/departments to align with organizational objectives. They are responsible for creating and maintaining program structure and order, acting as the 'eyes and ears' of the Director Operations Naval, and understanding the program's content.
Must have:
  • Set-up and work according to Program year-plan.
  • Develop and work according to yearly/monthly communication-plan.
  • Prepare, take minutes, and disseminate program meetings.
  • Develop and improve standards for working documents.
  • Upkeep of Project-archive and program administration.
  • BSc or masters degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years work-experience, preferably in aviation or automotive sectors.
  • Background in large project or programs.

About the Operations Naval Team

In this team, the Radar Ramp-up project is managed. The team orchestrates activities and initiatives across Product Segments, Engineering, Industry and Procurement, as well as all relevant Departments, in order to:

  • Achieve Thales Naval 2025 ramp-up objectives;
  • Secure execution of critical paths and lead-time reduction
  • Deploy structural and change management levers in order to ground Thales Naval transformation towards Series Production, tackle structural bottlenecks, reduce recurring costs of our radars, and prepare accordingly for 2026 onwards ramp-up objectives

About your future job

The primary role of the PMO is to establish and maintain operational management standards, processes, and best practices, ensuring that the Thales Naval Ramp-up is executed efficiently. The PMO helps support the Director Operations Naval while also working with other projects and/or departments to ensure that Operations Naval are coordinated and aligned with the organizational objectives.

The PMO is responsible for creating and maintaining structure and order in the program. Content is key for the PMO, which she/he is willing to learn and understand. In essence, the PMO functions as the ‘eyes and ears’ of the Director Operations Naval.

The main tasks are:

  • Set-up of and work according to Program year-plan. Prepares team for the next milestones and steps to be taken
  • Develop and work according to yearly/monthly communication-plan. Determines what needs to communicated to whom, when and how. Prepares the communication. Coordinate aligning with the relevant (international) stakeholders
  • Prepare, take minutes (participate) and disseminate program meetings
  • Develop and improvement on standard for working documents
  • Upkeep of Project-archive and program administration
