Job Description

As a Poster Designer at Stage OTT, you'll be responsible for creating visually compelling posters, promotional materials, and marketing assets for films, web series, and other projects. Key responsibilities include designing film and series posters, campaign and ad creatives for digital/social media, developing and refining the visual identity of Stage OTT, creating motion graphics and animations, and collaborating with marketing and content teams. You'll need strong skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and ideally After Effects, along with a deep understanding of visual storytelling and brand consistency. The role requires managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and effectively communicating design rationale to stakeholders.

As a Graphic Designer, you will play a pivotal role in designing impactful posters, promotional creatives, and marketing assets that resonate with our audience and drive engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Film & Series Poster Design: Create visually compelling and emotionally engaging posters for our films, web series, and upcoming projects. You will be responsible for capturing the essence of each production and bringing it to life through powerful, story-driven visuals.

  • Campaign and Ad Design: Design eye-catching promotional materials for performance ads across digital and social media platforms. This includes banners, posters, and visuals tailored to both paid media and organic content.

  • Visual Identity Development: Help define and refine the visual identity of STAGE across various platforms. Develop brand elements like typography, colour palette, and logo designs that ensure consistency in our promotional materials.

  • Motion Graphics & Animations: Integrate dynamic elements into posters, promotional videos, and user interfaces. Utilize motion graphics tools like After Effects to enhance static visuals and create engaging attention-grabbing content.

  • Collaborative Design: Work closely with the marketing, content, and external agencies to create designs that align with the creative direction of each project. Be an active participant in brainstorming sessions to push the creative envelope.

  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs are in line with STAGE’s branding and communicate a unified and cohesive visual message.

  • Social Media & Digital Creatives: Develop assets for social media campaigns, including episode creatives, teasers, and digital posters that align with the social calendar and marketing goals.

  • Adaptation for Different Formats: Adapt designs across various sizes and formats for different channels, including digital (social media, websites), print, and outdoor advertising.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years as a Graphic Designer with specific experience designing film, web series, and TV posters. Prior experience in the entertainment industry is highly preferred.

  • Software Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign for designing posters, banners, and digital content. Knowledge of motion graphics and animation software like Adobe After Effects is a plus.

  • Design Expertise: Strong skills in typography, layout design, and visual storytelling. Ability to capture the tone and essence of different film/series genres in your designs.

  • Project Management: Strong organisational skills to handle multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Feedback & Iteration: Ability to take constructive feedback and implement changes while maintaining design integrity. Confidently communicate design rationale to stakeholders.

  • Trends & Innovation: Stay updated with the latest design trends, techniques, and tools in the film and entertainment industry. A passion for experimenting with new design methods is encouraged.

  • Curiosity & Growth Mindset: Eagerness to learn, adapt, and explore new design tools and software to improve creative output.

Nice to Have:

  • Prior experience working on designs for film promotions, TV series campaigns, or entertainment industry-related visuals.

  • A portfolio showcasing a variety of film and series posters or similar creative work.

  • Understanding of how visual elements impact audience engagement and behaviour.
