Job Description

Seeking a technical developer for Cadence’s Hardware Emulation Cloud to develop scalable and secure monitoring platform and processes to improve operations. Key responsibilities include implementing monitoring frameworks, identifying automation opportunities, driving technical decisions on architecture and tooling, developing processes for tracking metrics, and ensuring operational excellence by meeting reliability standards and SLAs.
Must have:
  • Implement monitoring framework to improve infrastructure reliability, observability, and alerts.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to reduce manual work and acceleration delivery.
  • Drive technical decisions on architecture, automation, and tooling.
  • Develop processes to track and scale key metrics for reliability, efficiency and scalability.
  • Achieve highest standards of reliability in Cadence’s cloud and hosting services.
  • Meet and exceed Service Legal Agreements (SLAs) for customer issue resolution.
  • Manage communication of progress and status with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • BSEE with a minimum of 6 years of experience OR MSEE with a minimum of 4 years of experience.
  • Engineering experience with chip/silicon development, emulation, and EDA.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate and manage large-scale, enterprise-grade environments.
  • Experience with cloud & cloud security practices and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Proficiency in leveraging analytics to forecast performance and optimize operations.
  • Experience managing relational databases (e.g., SQL Server), including database CI/CD and configuration.
  • Expertise in cloud security protocols (SOC2, ISO, etc.).

  • Achieving highest standards of reliability in Cadence’s cloud and hosting services exceeding industry standards
  • Meeting and exceeding Service Legal Agreements (SLAs) for customer issue resolution
  • Manage communication of progress and status with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders

Requirements

  • BSEE with a minimum of 6 years of experience OR MSEE with a minimum of 4 years of experience
  • Engineering experience with chip/silicon development , emulation, and EDA.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate and manage large-scale, enterprise-grade environments
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with cloud & cloud security practices and risk mitigation strategies.
