The Opportunity
We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of Firefly Creative Production Workflows. This orchestration layer connects Firefly’s AI capabilities with Adobe’s creative products, services, and customer applications.
In this role, you’ll define how Firefly’s image and video capabilities, APIs, and custom models interoperate to deliver seamless automation and personalization experiences for millions of creative technologists in enterprises.
You’ll partner closely with Engineering, Research, Design, and GTM teams to define the workflow builder architecture, execution framework, and extensibility patterns like consumable APIs and embeddability that will bring Firefly’s core capabilities to creative production professionals.
This is a highly strategic and technical role—ideal for a hands-on product leader who can connect AI services and creative APIs with user-centric workflow composition.
What You’ll Do
Workflow Platform Strategy
- Define the vision and strategy for Firefly Services Workflows—how generative AI capabilities are composed into automated, reusable, and extensible creative processes.
- Design and scale workflow primitives (e.g., orchestration, chaining, sub-graphs, and execution engine) that will power Firefly capabilities across enterprises.
- Collaborate with Firefly Research and platform teams to productize various workflow actions into enterprise-ready, scalable services.
- Work with other Adobe products to embed these work capabilities in their user flows
- Own the end-to-end roadmap for the creative production flow at Firefly.
Integration & Extensibility
- Build and evolve the Firefly Workflow Embeddability and Consumable APIs to enable developers, partners, and internal teams to embed workflow capabilities into their apps.
- Partner with Developer Experience teams to deliver documentation, tooling, and example workflows that accelerate third-party adoption.
- Define governance, versioning, and monitoring standards to ensure workflows are secure, performant, and compliant across domains.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Serve as the connective tissue across Firefly, Creative Cloud, and Experience Cloud—aligning workflow strategies and ensuring interoperability across the ecosystem.
- Influence long-term architectural decisions for Firefly Services and shared infrastructure.
- Mentor PMs, or individuals with comparable experience, and guide cross-functional teams through ambiguity, ensuring strategic clarity and execution excellence.
You’re a Great Fit If You
- Have 8+ years of product management experience in AI/ML, workflow platforms, or developer ecosystems, with at least 3 years in a principal or lead role.
- Have led platform or services strategy for large-scale systems with extensibility or workflow automation.
- Are technically fluent—comfortable discussing APIs, data pipelines, orchestration frameworks, and AI model integration with engineering teams.
- Have experience building products that bridge AI services with creative or enterprise applications.
- Are deeply customer- and developer-centric, balancing visionary thinking with practical delivery.
- Thrive in complex, fast-paced environments where cross-org influence, iteration, and innovation are essential.
