Job Description

This Principal Program Lead role at Autodesk's Transformation Management Office drives key organizational transformations across the go-to-market organization (Marketing, Sales, Customer Success).   • Drive continuous improvement in program management processes, tools, and capabilities, fostering innovation and operational excellence
  • Manage relationships with senior executives to ensure alignment, visibility, and support for transformation objectives
  • 8-12 years of experience in program management or go-to-market transformation
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex enterprise programs from initiation to completion across multiple domains
  • Strong ability to influence without authority, driving alignment across senior stakeholders and diverse teams
  • In-depth knowledge of program management methodologies, tools, and techniques
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging VP and C-suite leaders

Position Overview

This role requires understanding the business and people strategy drivers across Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success, and ensuring transformations are delivered cohesively, with a high degree of confidentiality and cross-functional partnership.

We are seeking an experienced Principal Program Lead to support Autodesk’s Transformation Management Office. This role is critical for Autodesk to achieve growth and cross-functional alignment. You will partner with our senior go-to-market leadership team to understand organizational goals, ensure cohesive planning, and prepare the business for continued change and evolution. You will help maintain consistent approaches to delivering transformations, with a focus on large, complex initiatives.

Reporting to the Director of TMO, you will play a central role in ensuring consistency across enterprise transformations, driving alignment to strategic goals, improving processes around organizational impacts, and ensuring change delivers measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex enterprise programs from initiation to completion across multiple domains
  • Strong ability to influence without authority, driving alignment across senior stakeholders and diverse teams
  • In-depth knowledge of program management methodologies, tools, and techniques
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging VP and C-suite leaders

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $138,200 and $223,630. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
