Job Summary
SS&C Eze is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join the Eze OMS team in Boston. This role involves technical leadership, mentoring, and developing high-quality, scalable code. The engineer will design data and domain models, identify improvements, provide operational support, and become an expert in the team's domain. The team focuses on integrated applications for asset management, streamlining the investment lifecycle.
Must Have
- 8+ Years of experience in programming and software development
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft .NET coding languages (C# experience preferred)
- Deep understanding of OOD/P and its application
- Experience with API Architecting and Development
- Experience with Public or Private Cloud Development
- Proficient in SQL (SQL Server experience preferred)
- Experience providing technical leadership, design advice, and mentoring other engineers
- Fluency in various Design Patterns
- Fluency in algorithmic thinking and problem-solving
- Develop high-quality code on schedule, based on a technical design
- Design and implement underlying data and domain models for applications and services
- Provide operational support for critical production issues

SS&C Eze is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join the Eze OMS team based out of our Boston headquarters. Eze’s award-winning Investment Suite features a set of integrated applications that provide best-in-class asset management functionality to streamline the investment lifecycle. Our applications can be combined together for a seamless front-to-back workflow, used standalone, or integrated with other third-party systems. As a Software Engineer on the OMS, you will work on a team consisting of a Product Manager, QA, Scrum Master, and other Software Engineers. The ideal candidate has a passion for software development, a commitment to quality, is eager to learn and innovate, has excellent analytical skills, and can communicate effectively with teammates.
