Job Description

SS&C Bluedoor is undergoing a technology modernization, seeking an IT Change Manager to lead and coordinate changes across IT systems, software, and infrastructure. This role ensures smooth, efficient execution of changes to Production technology systems with minimal disruption. The manager will develop and implement change strategies, facilitate Change Advisory Board meetings, assess risks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities include monitoring performance metrics, supporting migration initiatives, and acting as a gatekeeper to Production environments, championing adaptability and continuous improvement.
Must have:
  • Develop, deliver, and execute a comprehensive Change Management strategy.
  • Develop and implement a local change process.
  • Serve as the key liaison between cross-functional teams.
  • Own the IT Change process, facilitating Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings.
  • Perform detailed change impact assessments, readiness evaluations, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, solution architects, and business SMEs.
  • Monitor and Report on change performance metrics.
  • Support ongoing Bluedoor and Private Cloud migration change events.
  • Act as gatekeeper to Production, ensuring no unauthorised change impact production environments.
  • Champion change by addressing resistance, promoting adaptability, gathering stakeholder feedback, and driving continuous improvement.

What You Will Get to Do:

SS&C Bluedoor is experiencing an exciting transformation period, undergoing a modernization of its existing technology. As the part of this journey, we are seeking an IT Change Manager to lead and coordinate the implementation of changes across IT systems, software, and infrastructure. This role is critical in ensuring that all changes to Production technology systems and services are executed smoothly, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to business and client operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, communication, analytical skills and experience in ITIL or equivalent industry frameworks to manage the change processes, assess risks, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.

  • Develop, deliver, and execute a comprehensive Change Management strategy aligning to the current ITSM, MSP and Cloud project requirements whilst adhering to SS&C's global policies and processes, certified under ISO 27001.
  • Develop and implement a local change process which compliments and leverages the SS&C Enterprise Change Framework (ECF).
  • Serve as the key liaison between cross-functional teams to ensure smooth technology adoption by aligning workflows, promoting consistent knowledge sharing, and delivering change initiatives that build stakeholder capability and readiness.
  • Own the IT Change process, facilitating Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings, governing the presentation, assessment and approval of Change Requests.
  • Following identification of risks, perform detailed change impact assessments, readiness evaluations, and risk mitigation strategies across business and technical streams supporting general business items and Private Cloud migration initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, solution architects, and business SMEs to synchronise change efforts with technical delivery
  • Monitor and Report on change performance metrics, including success rates, change related incidents and continuous improvement.
  • Support ongoing Bluedoor and Private Cloud migration change events utilising the newly defined change management process.
  • Act as gatekeeper to Production, ensuring no unauthorised change impact production environments whilst enabling efficient and controlled delivery of fixes.
  • Champion change by addressing resistance, promoting adaptability, gathering stakeholder feedback, and driving continuous improvement to sustain change.

What You Will Bring:

  • Proven experience in change management and transformational change delivery.
  • Ability to think strategically and deliver simultaneous change programs.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and active listening skills.
  • Strong problem solving and identifying root cause to address challenges effectively.
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively and flexibly with and through others.
  • Proven experience in supporting change management for new service and product offerings.
  • Proficiency in identifying potential risks and develop appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
  • High level of attention to detail to ensure all aspects of the change are managed meticulously.
  • Proven experience in managing and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT Change Management or IT Service Management roles.
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL framework (ITIL v4 certification preferred).
  • Experience with change management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to drive the establishment and evolution of process across a complex business
