The Product Analyst will be responsible for analyzing game features during the pre-production stage and formulating impact hypotheses. They will also analyze basic game metrics, identify weaknesses, and draw conclusions. The role involves post-update analysis of game metric changes, cohort analysis, market and competitor analysis, writing scripts for database searches, conducting A/B testing, developing player segmentation, and interacting with project managers and game design teams. Must Have:- Experience in the gaming industry for at least 2 years.
- Experience with Amazon Redshift (Mongo 3T is a plus).
- Experience with Tableau.
- Mathematical or technical education (mathematics, software engineering).
- Experience with casual games.
- High-level knowledge of Excel.
- Knowledge of SQL or basic knowledge of any programming language.
- In-depth knowledge of game metrics and market markers.
- Deep understanding of how the industry functions and who its main players are.
- Expert in drawing conclusions from data, demonstrative reports and graphs.
- Good ability to independently hypothesize, refute or confirm them.
- Good understanding of monetization principles and pricing in games.
- Knowledge of probability theory and statistics.
- Experience with A/B testing, successful cases available.
