About the role

Nearly half the US workforce is hourly—healthcare workers, retail associates, manufacturing teams. These massive workforces are Rippling's largest customers, and they deserve better than clunky systems. You're designing for the restaurant server checking schedules between orders, the factory worker clocking in with gloves on. Every interaction must be fast, simple, and intuitive.

Time Product is Rippling's most frequently used product across our entire platform. It's the foundation of how thousands of people interact with work every single day. You'll be the architect of Rippling's mobile future. Your work will set the mobile quality standard not just at Rippling, but across the entire industry. You'll rally teams around a unified vision, proving that enterprise software can feel as natural and beautiful as the apps people love.

We're looking for a seasoned designer who's passionate about solving real-world problems and genuinely improving people's day-to-day lives. Someone who believes hourly workers deserve the same thoughtful, elegant experiences as everyone else, and has the vision and skills to make it happen.

What you will do

• Reimagine the mobile experience for our entire Time suite, including Scheduling, Time Attendance, Leave Management, and Chat
• Design a full kiosk system from 0->1  that serves as the main interface between Rippling and many hourly workers
• Drive overall mobile strategy across Rippling and help elevate the entire mobile experience across our platform
• Heavily  influence and contribute to our mobile design system to make it scalable across the platform
• Work cross-functionally with Research, Product, Engineering, Leadership to plan, design, build, and ship new capabilities that push the limits of what's possible
• Deliver precise designs and prototypes that communicate detailed interactions and ensure the team delivers high-quality products

What you will need

• 8+ years of professional product design experience with a track record of shipping elegant, high-impact end-to-end mobile products
• Strong craft skills with proficiency in design tools and the ability to create compelling, detailed interactions and prototypes
• Strong communication and collaboration skills—you can articulate design decisions clearly and work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Relentless customer focus—you dig deep to understand real user needs and translate those insights into design decisions that solve real problems
• Self-starter mentality with a bias toward action—you thrive in fast-paced environments and turn ambiguity into clarity through thoughtful design exploration
