We are seeking a Product Manager to help shape and grow a new AI-enabled game development tools project from its early stages. You will work closely with the CEO, a veteran Lead Architect, and the Lead Engineer to define priorities, coordinate development, and ensure the product meets both internal needs and market opportunities. This role requires someone comfortable navigating diverse stakeholders, balancing business goals with technical realities, and adapting plans as the project evolves. The ideal candidate brings a mix of strategic thinking, market awareness, and hands-on product management skills, and thrives in a collaborative environment where the path forward is still being charted.
Must have:
  • Collaborate with leadership and engineering to define product goals and priorities.
  • Translate high-level vision into actionable plans, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Evaluate feature trade-offs, scope options, and schedules with input from the Lead Engineer.
  • Maintain and adjust the product roadmap based on progress, feedback, and market insights.
  • Serve as the main communication link between business leadership, technical teams, and other departments.
  • Build alignment with the Lead Architect by understanding technical considerations and presenting clear business cases.
  • Identify potential opportunities for product improvements, partnerships, or future expansion.
  • Work with marketing and other functions to position the product effectively in its market space.

  • Experience launching tools or platforms for developers.
  • Knowledge of competitive landscapes and emerging trends in related markets.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in product management or a similar role, preferably in gaming, AI, or developer tools.
  • Familiarity with at least one of the following areas (or similar): game development, AI tools, or middleware.
  • Comfortable working in early-stage or evolving environments with shifting priorities.
  • Strong communication skills for working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to balance strategic objectives with practical execution.
  • Demonstrated skill in building consensus among stakeholders with differing viewpoints.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Familiarity with AI applications in gaming.
  • Experience launching tools or platforms for developers.
  • Knowledge of competitive landscapes and emerging trends in related markets.
