Job Details

About Tennr:

Today, when you go to your doctor and need to be referred to a specialist (e.g., for sleep apnea), your doctor sends a fax (yes, in 2024, 90% of provider-provider communication is a 1980s fax). These are often converted into 20+ page PDFs, with handwritten (doctor’s handwriting!) notes, in thousands of different formats. The problem is so complex that a person has to read it, type it up, and manually enter your information. Tennr built RaeLM™ (7B—trained on 3M+ documents) to read these docs, talk to your doc to ensure nothing is missed, and text you to help schedule your appointment so you can get better, faster.

Tennr is a NYC-based tech company that launched out of Y-Combinator and is backed by Lightspeed Venture Partners, Andreessen Horowitz, Foundation Capital, The New Normal Fund, and other top investors.

About the role:

We are looking for a Product Manager who is eager to learn, deeply curious about our customers (healthcare providers), and possesses a strong ability to "figure it out". In this role, you will support the Product team in defining and delivering solutions, working closely with Design, Engineering, Implementation, and Machine Learning. The ideal candidate is someone who is proactive in tackling challenges, resourceful in finding answers, and excited to contribute to product development from insight to outcome in a dynamic, impact-driven environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Learn about our customers – their workflows, frustrations, and what they care about – by actively supporting customer research and engaging with our Implementation and Solutions teams.

  • Assist in translating identified problems into structured product tasks and contributing to defining clear metrics.

  • Analyze data to support hypothesis validation and outcome measurement for specific features or areas.

  • Contribute to roadmap discussions and support the execution of specific product features or tasks within cross-functional teams.

  • Proactively seek information, ask questions, and find solutions when faced with unclear tasks or problems – demonstrating a strong ability to "figure it out".

  • Communicate clearly within the Product team and with close collaborators in engineering, design, and implementation.

  • Distill complex ideas into clear, concise communications within defined product domains.

  • Support agile ceremonies and help manage the sprint process.

  • Assist in writing clear and concise product specifications.

  • Ensure internal teams are informed and aligned on upcoming feature releases.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a Product Management role.

  • Demonstrated curiosity and strong commitment to quickly learning and understanding the dynamics of the healthcare market.

  • A track record of being proactive and resourceful in previous roles, projects, or academic work.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with the capacity to convey complex information clearly.

  • Highly collaborative, thrives in team environments, and works effectively across departments.

  • Strong willingness to learn fast about the healthcare market.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience or exposure to clinical data standards, workflow automation, analytics, process management, or enterprise SaaS.

  • Experience in a B2B SaaS environment
