Be part of the TelevisaUnivision team, the world's leading Spanish-language media and content company. This Product Manager role in the Sales area focuses on defining, developing, and launching specific functionalities within the AVOD platform. The role ensures solutions meet user and advertiser needs, align with the strategic roadmap, and drive growth and monetization. Responsibilities include translating strategic vision into product requirements, managing the product backlog, collaborating with engineering and design, monitoring KPIs, conducting user research, and communicating with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience in digital product management, agile methodologies, and data analysis.
Must have:
  • Define, develop, and launch specific functionalities or product areas within the AVOD platform.
  • Ensure solutions meet user and advertiser needs and align with strategic roadmap.
  • Drive growth and monetization objectives.
  • Responsible for daily execution of the product lifecycle.
  • Translate strategic vision and business/user needs into clear product requirements.
  • Manage the product backlog, prioritizing tasks and functionalities.
  • Work closely with engineers and designers for technical feasibility and optimal UX.
  • Actively participate in agile ceremonies.
  • Monitor and analyze key product performance metrics (KPIs) and user metrics.
  • Conduct user research and competitive analysis.
  • Collaborate with Business and Product Marketing for launch materials.
  • Maintain fluid communication with internal stakeholders.
  • Identify, evaluate, and mitigate potential risks and dependencies.
  • Act as an evangelist for the product vision.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or related fields.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Experience in Digital Product Management, preferably in streaming platforms (AVOD/SVOD), digital media or AdTech.
  • Familiarity with the complete product lifecycle and agile methodologies.
  • Experience in defining requirements and collaborating with engineering teams.
  • Basic knowledge of advertising monetization and its impact on revenue.
  • Experience in data analysis to inform product decisions.
  • 4-7 years of professional experience in digital or technology.
  • 2-3 years in Product Manager roles or similar.

The Sales area focuses on generating revenue and increasing market share by identifying and satisfying customer needs. This involves developing sales strategies, building customer relationships, presenting products or services, and closing commercial agreements to achieve sales goals and objectives.

About you:

Define, develop, and launch specific functionalities or product areas within the AVOD platform, ensuring these solutions meet user and advertiser needs, align with the strategic roadmap established by the Product Lead and the Head of Business and Product Marketing, and drive growth and monetization objectives. This role is responsible for the daily execution of the product lifecycle for its assigned area.

Your day to day:

  • Translate strategic vision and business/user needs into clear, detailed, and actionable product requirements (user stories, functional specifications) for the engineering team.
  • Ensure requirements are aligned with advertising monetization and engagement objectives.
  • Be the product "owner" for your area, from ideation and design to development, launch, monitoring, and continuous optimization.
  • Manage the product backlog, prioritizing tasks and functionalities in collaboration with the Product Lead and the engineering team.
  • Work closely with engineers and designers to ensure the technical feasibility of solutions and an optimal user experience (UX).
  • Actively participate in agile ceremonies (sprints, stand-ups, demos).
  • Monitor and analyze key product performance metrics (KPIs) and user metrics to identify improvement opportunities and validate the impact of launched functionalities.
  • Use analysis tools to gain insights into user behavior and monetization.
  • Conduct user research (interviews, surveys) and competitive analysis to understand the needs, pain points, and market opportunities for your product area.
  • Collaborate with the Strategy & Insights team to validate hypotheses and obtain deeper data.
  • Collaborate with the Business and Product Marketing team in preparing launch materials, key messages, and communication plans for new functionalities or products.
  • Ensure the sales and marketing team understands the product's value for advertisers and users.
  • Maintain fluid and effective communication with relevant internal stakeholders (content, advertising sales, operations, legal) regarding product progress and decisions.
  • Proactively identify, evaluate, and mitigate potential risks and dependencies that may affect product development and launch.
  • Act as an evangelist for the product vision within the organization, fostering a customer-centric and product-value-focused mindset.

You should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in areas such as Marketing, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or related fields.
  • Advanced English.
  • Experience in Digital Product Management, preferably in streaming platforms (AVOD/SVOD), digital media, or AdTech.
  • Familiarity with the complete product lifecycle and agile methodologies.
  • Experience in defining requirements and collaborating with engineering teams.
  • Basic knowledge of advertising monetization and how product features impact revenue (e.g., ad formats, engagement).
  • Experience in data analysis to inform product decisions.
  • 4-7 years of professional experience in the digital or technology field.
  • 2-3 years in Product Manager roles or similar with product responsibilities.
