Job Description
Our new Consumer Platform is a strategic initiative dedicated to creating seamless, unified user experiences across all of Nine's digital products. It will deliver universal capabilities for identity, marketing communications, subscription management, billing, payments, and personalization—ultimately enabling deeper audience engagement, sustainable growth, and long-term customer retention.
As the Product Manager for Entitlements & Offerings, you will join the Accounts & Engagement team. This is a pivotal role focused on enabling our Growth Marketing teams to execute and experiment with their own initiatives. You will be responsible for defining, building, and launching products related to entitlements, promotional capabilities, and our paywall system.
What you’ll do:
- Define, build, and launch exceptional, market-leading products for the Entitlements & Offerings space.
- Write clear, exhaustive specifications for major features, including those required to enable experimentation. You will think through and specify complex functionality, ensuring you provide the right level of detail needed by your engineering team to execute with precision.
- Be a key driver in building experimentation tools, supporting promotional and offer capabilities, and enabling crucial growth marketing initiatives.
- Seamlessly transition your focus between managing a large-scale platform implementation project and driving continuous, incremental software improvements based on real-time user feedback and evolving business needs.
- Leverage data and actionable insights from analytics platforms to rigorously inform your product decisions, analyse user behaviour, and accurately measure the success of your products.
- Work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders—including finance, engineering, legal, and business teams—to understand their strategic goals and effectively communicate your product roadmap, risks, and dependencies.
- Manage and rigorously prioritize the product backlog for your dedicated engineering team, ensuring resources are focused on the highest-value initiatives.
- Translate high-level strategic changes in a fast-moving transformation environment into clear, actionable, and measurable product initiatives for your squad.
- Take ownership of the technical implementation quality, ensuring payment processing is secure, compliant, and highly available.
- Work closely with engineers to ensure solutions are scalable and maintainable for long-term growth.
Qualifications
What you’ll bring:
- An experienced Product Manager with a minimum of 3+ years of experience and a proven ability to manage complex products from concept validation through to successful launch and iteration.
- You have a passion for user growth and a solid understanding of entitlements, promotional systems, and paywalls.
- You are genuinely data-driven and instinctively use quantitative and qualitative insights to validate hypotheses and guide strategic product decisions.
- An effective, polished communicator capable of synthesizing complex technical and growth requirements and translating them for engineering, design, and business teams to deliver unified, impactful solutions.
- You are highly adaptable and thrive in a fast-paced transformation environment, comfortably managing ambiguity and change.
