Job Summary

Nine, Australia's largest locally owned media company, is seeking an Inventory Executive for their Sydney office. This full-time role supports the Head of Total TV Trading by assisting with brief responses, rate and audience analysis, and executing inventory maximization strategies. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with national Commerce, Sales, Traffic, and Technology Solutions teams, gaining broad exposure within the company. Responsibilities include processing bookings, campaign amendments, reporting, analytics, and implementing inventory management strategies.

Must Have

  • Provide support to the National Sales teams by assisting with and providing guidance in processing bookings and campaign amendments.
  • Provide reporting and analytics.
  • Implement inventory management strategies.
  • Provide assistance and recommendations to the National Sales team on Network best practice.
  • Liaise with various internal departments.
  • Assist the Commerce team with ad-hoc requests as required.
  • Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple, varied tasks and constantly shifting priorities within required timelines.
  • Understanding of Media Sales.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Proven problem solving skills with a solution focused mind.

Good to Have

  • Strong analytical and financial skills is desirable

Job Description

We have an opportunity in our Sydney office for an Inventory Executive to join the Commerce team!

This role is primarily responsible for supporting the Head of Total TV Trading with brief responses, rate and audience analysis and executing inventory maximisation strategies. The Inventory Executive will work cross-functionally, gaining broad exposure to the national Commerce team (inventory and yield management), Sales, Traffic and Technology Solutions!

Day to day you will:

  • Provide support to the National Sales teams by assisting with and providing guidance in processing bookings and campaign amendments.
  • Provide reporting and analytics.
  • Implement inventory management strategies.
  • Provide assistance and recommendations to the National Sales team on Network best practice.
  • Liaise with various internal departments.
  • Assist the Commerce team with ad-hoc requests as required.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring:

  • Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple, varied tasks and constantly shifting priorities within required timelines
  • Understanding of Media Sales
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong analytical and financial skills is desirable
  • Proven problem solving skills with a solution focused mind
  • Enjoys working in a support role with a focus on delivering network-wide KPIs
