Job Summary

The Logistics Inventory Specialist at Greenworks will be responsible for managing all aspects of freight monitoring and import container delivery to ensure timely and efficient product delivery and exceptional customer experience. This role involves independent work, developing relationships, and minimizing risks by tracking and tracing shipments and managing customer orders across all transportation modes. The specialist will also maintain daily logs, oversee drayage partners, organize SOPs, handle partner communications, and manage various types of shipments including air, LTL, and FTL, while resolving transit issues and optimizing inventory efficiency.

Must Have

  • Maintain day-to-day management of logistics operations

Position Summary:

The role of the Logistics Inventory Specialist will be responsible for all facets of freight monitoring and delivery of import containers to ensure exceptional customer experience with timely and efficient delivery of products. The candidate will work independently, developing relationships, and minimizing risks. The position requires the candidate to track & trace as well as manage customer orders for movement via all modes of transportation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain day-to-day management of our logistics operations, by having a daily log of our shipments in transit, along with overseeing door deliveries with our drayage partners.
  • Organizing and instilling SOPs in compliance with the company’s vision to increase productivity regarding warehouse operations.
  • Handling communication with our various partners and being a facilitator of information to maintain an organized operation for our inbound freight.
  • Oversee air shipments, LTL and FTL shipments with our existing pricing agreements and organizing pickups and deliveries with the warehouse.
  • Resolve ocean and air transit time questions and issues as they arise.
  • Coming up with solutions, detailing them, and converting current and new processes into SOP’s that will define our strategies moving forward.
  • Manage inventory for compliance and to ensure quick entry for optimal efficiency.
