Egnyte is a secure multi-cloud platform for content security and governance, helping over 22,000 organizations protect and collaborate on valuable content. The Product Led Growth team focuses on using the product itself to drive user acquisition, retention, and expansion. This role involves developing and executing PLG strategies, optimizing user onboarding and conversion funnels, and identifying growth levers. It requires data-driven decision-making, user experience optimization, cross-functional collaboration, and product development for growth-focused features.

  • Strong background in data analysis and experimentation.

Our Product Led Growth team focuses on the strategy that the product itself is the primary driver of user acquisition, retention, and expansion. PLG emphasizes making the product so valuable and user-friendly that it attracts, converts, and retains customers organically through its own merits.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Growth Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute comprehensive PLG strategies that drive user acquisition, activation, feature discoverability and adoption, customer retention, and revenue expansion
  • Design and optimize user onboarding flows, trial experiences, and conversion funnels
  • Identify growth levers within the product and create experiments to maximize their impact
  • Partner with engineering, UI/UX, product marketing, marketing operations and data teams to implement growth-focused product initiatives

Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Establish and monitor key growth metrics including feature adoption rates, time-to-value, churn risk/health scores, and expansion revenue
  • Conduct deep-dive analysis to understand behavior patterns and ID optimization opportunities
  • Design and execute A/B tests and multivariate experiments to validate growth hypotheses
  • Create comprehensive dashboards and reporting systems to track PLG performance
  • Identify and track key growth metrics with an eye for optimization

User Experience Optimization

  • Reduce friction points in user flows and eliminate barriers to product adoption
  • Collaborate with UX/UI teams to create intuitive, self-service experiences
  • Implement in-product messaging, tooltips, and guidance systems to improve user success and feature discoverability

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Install Base (IB) marketing and customer success teams to identify expansion opportunities and reduce churn
  • Collaborate with engineering to prioritize and deliver growth-focused features
  • Coordinate with data science team to develop predictive models for user behavior
  • Work closely with other Product Managers to promote key capabilities

Product Development

  • Define product requirements for growth-focused features and enhancements
  • Oversee initiative launches, and measure impact on key growth metrics
  • Continuously iterate on capabilities based on user feedback and data insights

Other Expectations

  • This position will report to a Manager of Products within the Product organization
  • Workplace Expectations: on-site in Poznan (hybrid mode)

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

Requirements

  • 5+ years product management experience, with 3+ years focused on growth or PLG initiatives
  • Proven track record of driving measurable growth results for a SaaS B2B organization
  • Experience with freemium, trial, or self-serve business models
  • Strong background in data analysis and experimentation methodologies

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Big Query, Tableau)
  • Experience with A/B testing platforms and statistical analysis
  • Proficiency using Microsoft 365 and Google Apps
  • Familiarity with HTML and JSON
  • Familiarity with Agile product management tools (Jira, Confluence, Productboard)
  • Basic understanding of SQL and ability to work with data teams
  • Knowledge of marketing automation and customer engagement platforms

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders across multiple time zones
  • Customer-centric approach with deep empathy for user needs and pain points

  • Proven Agile skills and ability to coordinate multiple initiatives

  • Experience with PLG metrics and frameworks:
  • AARRR (Acquisition, Activation, Retention, Referral, and Revenue, AKA “Pirate Metrics”)
  • Cohort analysis
  • LTV/CAC (Customer Lifetime Value to Customer Acquisition Cost)
  • Pendo Admin Certified
  • Pendo’s Mind-the-Product™ Product Led Course Certified
  • Familiarity with Rolling Wave Planning
  • Experience with B2B Gamification

Success Metrics

In this role, success will be measured by:

  • Growth in MAUs and engagement metrics such as increased feature adoption
  • Improvement in trial-to-paid conversion rates
  • Reduction in time-to-value for new users
  • Growth in expansion revenue from existing customers
  • Increased NPS scores
  • Reduction in churn rates
