Job Description

Egnyte is seeking a skilled Salesforce Administrator to join their Business Systems team. This hybrid role involves supporting, enhancing, and expanding the Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, CPQ, and integrated apps). The administrator will perform hands-on configuration, system administration, and declarative or programmatic development, collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs, drive user adoption, maintain data integrity, and build scalable solutions for global Sales and Marketing teams.
Must have:
  • Serve as a primary admin for Salesforce org (~500 users)
  • Perform standard admin tasks: user management, roles, permissions, dashboards, flows, validation rules, and audits
  • Develop and maintain scalable solutions using Flows, Apex, custom objects, and Lightning components
  • Customize and support managed packages such as Salesforce CPQ
  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into functional, technical, and scalable solutions
  • Own full development lifecycle: design, build, test, deploy, and maintain features
  • Perform regular system health checks, release planning, and regression testing
  • Train end-users, maintain documentation, and champion best practices
  • Work independently and proactively suggest improvements and optimizations
  • 3+ years of Salesforce administration experience
  • Strong understanding of declarative Salesforce tools (Flows, Process Builder, Reports)
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification required
Good to have:
  • 1+ year of Salesforce CPQ experience
  • Experience with Apex (triggers, classes), Lightning Components, and SOQL
  • Familiarity with marketing and sales tools (e.g., Marketo, Outreach)
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Billing
  • Experience with change sets, Git-based version control, or CI/CD tools
  • Prior experience in a high-growth SaaS environment
  • Sales Cloud/CPQ/Platform Developer certifications

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Administrator to join our Business Systems team. You’ll play a critical role in supporting, enhancing, and expanding our Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, CPQ, and integrated apps). This hybrid role is ideal for someone who is equally comfortable with hands-on configuration, system administration, and declarative or programmatic development.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs, drive user adoption, maintain data integrity, and build scalable solutions. Your work will directly influence the productivity and efficiency of our global Sales and Marketing teams.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Serve as a primary admin for our Salesforce org (~500 users)
  • Perform standard admin tasks: user management, roles, permissions, dashboards, flows, validation rules, and audits
  • Develop and maintain scalable solutions using Flows, Apex, custom objects, and Lightning components
  • Customize and support managed packages such as Salesforce CPQ, and others
  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into functional, technical, and scalable solutions
  • Own full development lifecycle: design, build, test, deploy, and maintain features

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of Salesforce administration experience
  • 1+ year of Salesforce CPQ experience (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of declarative Salesforce tools (Flows, Process Builder, Reports)
  • Experience with Apex (triggers, classes), Lightning Components, and SOQL (preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Familiarity with marketing and sales tools (e.g., Marketo, Outreach) is a plus
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification required; Sales Cloud/CPQ/Platform Developer certifications preferred

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of Salesforce Billing
  • Experience with change sets, Git-based version control, or CI/CD tools
  • Prior experience in a high-growth SaaS environment
