Job Description

Wind River is seeking a motivated Product Analyst for its Product Portfolio Strategy team. This role involves shaping future product offerings, including RTOS, Linux, Cloud Platform, and DevOps tools. The analyst will support strategic decision-making by analyzing inputs from customers, sales, partners, and market research, informing product strategy and investment planning. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key to ensure alignment on strategy, execution, and go-to-market readiness, contributing to competitive research and portfolio development for intelligent systems.
Must have:
  • Help shape the future of product portfolio offerings

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Partner, Sales, Marketing)
  • Conduct competitive research and contribute to product solution fit
  • Support portfolio strategy development and performance tracking
  • 2-5 years experience in product, business analysis, or consulting
  • Familiarity with product delivery lifecycle and project management tools (Jira, Confluence)
  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills
  • Experience leveraging data and research for product decisions
  • Ability to adapt across product strategy, technical discussions, and go-to-market activities
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within product management and strategy
  • Bachelor’s degree
Good to have:
  • Familiarity with RTOS/Linux
  • Familiarity with AI/ML and/or data science
  • Familiarity with DevOps
  • Familiarity with security concepts
  • Familiarity with containerization & orchestration concepts

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a motivated and analytical Product Analyst to join our Product Portfolio Strategy team. In this role, you will help shape the future of our product portfolio offerings, including platforms from RTOS and Linux operating systems to Cloud Platform, DevOps tooling suite and services offerings. You’ll play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making by aggregating and analyzing inputs from customers, sales, partners, and market research. Your insights will help inform product strategy, identify emerging trends, and support investment planning across our mission-critical edge, cloud and tooling solutions.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and leaders across Product, Engineering, Partner, Sales, and Marketing to ensure alignment on strategy, execution, and go-to-market readiness. From conducting competitive research and contributing to product solution fit, to supporting portfolio strategy development and tracking performance, you’ll be at the heart of our efforts to define and scale differentiated, customer-focused offerings. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in product strategy while working on cutting-edge technologies that power the next generation of intelligent systems.

ABOUT YOU

Requirements & Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in a product analyst, business analyst, or consulting role, preferably with a focus on software or technology products.
  • Familiarity with product delivery lifecycle and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, startup-like team with a collaborative mindset and strong sense of ownership
  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data and strategy into clear, actionable insights
  • Experience leveraging data and research to identify trends, evaluate opportunities, and inform product decisions
  • Ability to adapt across product strategy, technical discussions, and go-to-market or partner enablement activities
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within product management and strategy
  • Familiarity with technical concepts such as RTOS/Linux, AI/ML and/or data science, DevOps, security, containerization & orchestration concepts, and cloud technologies (i.e., containers, Kubernetes, etc.) is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.

Compensation

The annual base salary range for this role’s listed grade level is currently $90,000 to $110,000.
