Job Description

As a Trek Production Technician, you will be responsible for the care and maintenance of bicycles, including new models, ensuring their flawless operation. This lead role involves completing over 50% of team repairs, focusing on quick, consistent, accurate, and high-quality bike building and repair. You will handle complex repairs and require elevated skills in communication, leadership, and problem-solving.
Must Have:
  • 3+ years of bicycle Service Centre experience
  • Self-motivation
  • Positive, team-focused mentality
  • Willingness to pitch in on any task
  • Fantastic hospitality (warm, approachable, great listening, drive to help)
  • Top-notch communication skills
  • Impressive attention to detail
  • Love for tinkering until a solution is found
  • Eagerness to learn the ins and outs of servicing bicycles
  • Desire to continually learn proper service methods and new technologies
  • Ability to care for bikes so their owners love riding them
  • Ability to be the first to work on brand-new models before they hit sales
  • Ability to build relationships with customers who trust your work
  • Ability to act as Lead Technician, completing over 50% of total team repairs
  • Ability to repair and build bikes quickly and consistently with accuracy and quality
  • Ability to handle complex repairs
  • Demonstrate elevated skills in communication, leadership, and problem-solving

What you’ll do

As a Trek Production Technician, no one day is the same as the last. This job is all about caring for bikes so their owners love riding them. You’ll also be the first to have your hands-on brand-new models before they hit the sales floor. Most importantly, you’ll build relationships with people who trust you to keep their gear running flawlessly. You will be the Lead Technician in the shop and will complete more than 50% of the total repairs for the team. This role focuses on repairing and building bikes quickly and consistently, while keeping accuracy and quality a top priority. The team and our customers will trust you with the most complex repairs. This role requires elevated skills in communication, leadership and problem solving.

  • 3+ years of bicycle Service Centre experience
