The Defense & Security unit focuses on military mission readiness. This role, Program Coordinator, involves performing project-specific duties in support of Program Managers and program staff, requiring knowledge of CAE’s operations and the Services Department. Responsibilities include general support to Program Managers, administrative tasks, and conducting research and analysis related to training services initiatives.
Must have:
  • Review, coordinate, and track contractually deliverable CDRLs and other documentation.
  • Provide program procurement support and tracking.
  • Manage and track purchase requisitions.
  • Oversee and manage Purchase Order placement-to-IMS.
  • Track material and supplier documentation-to-IMS.
  • Support program management communication and deliverables.
  • Coordinate IPT and provide document support to stakeholders.
  • Assist with program execution support.
  • Support delivery/deployment coordination.
  • Provide risk and opportunity management support.
  • Assist with program performance analysis.
  • Support schedule and financial analysis.
  • Provide proposal support, including BOE review and tracking.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, or related field.
  • Minimum 2+ years in project oversight, analysis, or administration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Windows, Word, Excel, Project, Visio, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently with attention to detail.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and familiar with office equipment.
  • Strong customer service, assertiveness, and diplomatic skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including overtime.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen for government contract requirements.
  • Eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.

Summary

  • Performs project-specific duties in support of the Program Manager(s) and supports the needs of the program staff. Perform duties requiring a good working knowledge of CAE’s operations and a detailed knowledge of the Services Department. Provides general support to Program Managers and supports the administrative needs of the program staff. Conduct research and perform analysis related to training services initiatives.

  • Reviews, coordinates, and tracks contractually deliverable CDRLs and other documentation. Documentation liaison for the TSSC and subcontractors.
  • Program procurement support and tracking
  • Purchase requisition tracking and management

  • Material and supplier documentation-to-IMS oversight and tracking
  • Program management communication and deliverables
  • IPT coordination and document support with functional stakeholders
  • Program execution support
  • Delivery/deployment coordination support

  • Proposal volume review and support
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in project oversight, analysis, and/or administration
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products: Windows, Word, Excel, Project, Visio, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Able to handle multiple tasks concurrently
  • Attention to detail and follow-through is imperative
  • Must be able to travel and work flexible hours and overtime, including occasional weekends
  • Must be familiar with all office equipment, such as copy machine and printer
  • Must be detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Customer service skills and assertiveness to deal diplomatically with employees at all levels
  • Attentiveness to deadlines and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision
  • Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.

Security Responsibilities

  • Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.
  • Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.
  • Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.

Work Environment

  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
  • 10% Travel may be needed
