Program Manager II

We are currently seeking a Project Manager II for a global biopharmaceutical company committed to advancing health solutions and improving lives worldwide. This is a 2-year contract opportunity based in Mettawa, IL, with a hybrid work arrangement (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).

As a Project Manager II, you will play a pivotal role in managing and supporting new product launches and ongoing brand initiatives within the Integrated Brand Team (IBT). You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of projects, all while ensuring that key milestones are met, and risks are managed. Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Establish and maintain strong relationships with project leaders and cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment on goals, objectives, and deliverables.
• Project Planning: Collaborate with business partners to define clear project goals and develop detailed plans that allocate resources effectively to meet business objectives.
• Progress Monitoring: Track project progress, identify potential scope changes, issues, and risks, and work with the team to implement solutions.
• Team Management: Lead project managers and cross-functional teams, ensuring all activities are executed according to plan and within budget.
• Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates and status reports to stakeholders, offering insights and recommendations to resolve any issues that may arise.
• Compliance & Policies: Ensure that all project activities comply with corporate and functional policies and procedures.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience: Minimum of 6 years of program/project management experience, ideally within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• Organizational Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and deliver results under pressure.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Teams and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Ability to lead and coordinate multiple teams, driving project success across different functions.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and motivate others without direct authority.
• Pharmaceutical Experience: Experience in product launches and market access within the pharmaceutical industry is highly preferred.

To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week, and the assignment must last a minimum of 10 weeks.
