Job Description

The Programmatic Manager - Audio will join Nine's Audio team in Sydney or Melbourne, driving programmatic revenue and deal sales across Nine's live radio streaming and podcasts. This role involves leading ad tech conversations, delivering strategic programmatic brief responses, collaborating with sales teams and external partners, monitoring campaign performance, and building client relationships to ensure successful outcomes and growth within the digital audio business.
Must Have:
  • Drive programmatic revenue through strategic brief responses, proactive opportunity pitching, and performance analysis.
  • Lead campaign and deal negotiations to ensure efficient Programmatic buying and high customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively monitor campaign delivery and performance against client goals, taking immediate action as needed.
  • Generate, analyse, and deliver timely ad hoc, end-of-campaign, and quarterly delivery reports.
  • Build and maintain effective, professional relationships with Trading Desks, Programmatic Agency teams, Agencies, and Clients.
  • Support a positive team environment through clear, timely, and professional communication.
  • Outstanding written and verbal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while maintaining rigorous attention to quality and detail.
  • Highly organised and efficient planner, ensuring all activities and deadlines are met.
  • Focused on driving results and delivering high-quality outcomes in every task undertaken.
  • Proficient and effective user of the Microsoft Office suite.

Job Description

We're looking for an agile Programmatic Manager - Audio to join the Nine Audio team! Based in either Sydney or Melbourne.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving programmatic revenue and deal sales across Nine's Audio assets of live radio streaming and podcasts, focused on a client base of national brands. You’ll be a key programmatic stakeholder in the growing digital audio business leading ad tech conversations as well as delivering highly strategic, programmatic brief responses.

You'll collaborate with the broader Audio sales team while acting as a seamless connector, working closely with external partners (Agency Trading Desks, Media Agencies) and our collaborative internal teams

Day to day you will:

  • Drive programmatic revenue within your client patch through strategic brief responses, proactive opportunity pitching, and performance analysis, focusing on cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.
  • Lead campaign and deal negotiations to ensure efficient Programmatic buying and high customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively monitor campaign delivery and performance against client goals, taking immediate action as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Work with the broader team to generate, analyse, and deliver timely ad hoc, end-of-campaign, and quarterly delivery reports.
  • Build and maintain effective, professional relationships with Trading Desks, Programmatic Agency teams, Agencies, and Clients, while representing the Nine Audio brand powerfully in the market.
  • Support a positive team environment through clear, timely, and professional communication, ensuring all company policies and procedures are followed.
