Project Design Assistant/ 3D modeler

Job Description:

Deck Remodelers is recognized as a national leader in the outdoor living design/ build space. We are seeking a 3D modeler/Draftsman to join our team. You will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings based on specifications provided by our sales teams. You will play a critical role in translating concepts into precise and clear designs that meet our clients' needs. This role requires proficiency in Realtime Landscape Architect software, a deep understanding of construction processes, materials, and the ability to effectively communicate with team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and produce detailed architectural models using Realtime Landscape Architect. Proficiency in CAD software, 3D modeling tools a plus.
• Coordinate with Sales/Design team and other team members to produce accurate models.
• Assess project needs and ensure design plans align with real-world conditions.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work produced.
• Collaborate with team members remotely to ensure deadlines are met.
• Stay updated on industry trends, construction materials, and building codes to create innovative and compliant designs.
• Adhere to timelines and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.
• Provide design support during the construction phase, including adjustments and problem-solving as needed.
  
  

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Realtime Landscape Architect (a must), CAD software, 3D modeling tools.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in drafting, preferably in an architectural or engineering setting.
• Strong understanding of technical drawing standards and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
• Previous experience in the construction or remodeling industry is a plus.
• Self-motivated and able to manage time effectively in a part-time role.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Reliable internet connection and a suitable remote working setup.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Very Proficient in Realtime Landscape Architecture software
• Experience in 3D modeling and rendering.
• Familiarity with other design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
  
  

Work Schedule:

• 20 hours per week, flexible within company business hours.
• Remote work, allowing you to work from anywhere.
• Must be working on Eastern time zone
