Key responsibilities:
- Establish long-term partnerships with the SOFTSWISS technical/business units, partners, clients, and manage their expectations.
- Organize, manage, and coordinate 1-2 studios/teams simultaneously with other meetings for the teams, project important ceremonies, and events.
- Manage multiple small, medium, or huge projects related to cross-team, cross-product and/or client-specific feature delivery.
- Establish and keep on track project plans and progress reports.
- Build the delivery plan along with estimations on timeframes, quality, and budget of resources required to implement projects successfully.
- Take end-to-end responsibility for the delivery of separate projects, programs and/or portfolios.
- Act as a key single point of responsibility for any delivery-related matters.
- Ensure that proper software development processes and engineering standards are in place.
- Provide stakeholders with data needed to make decisions on releases.
- Perform knowledge management within the organization.
- Mentor other project/delivery managers and help them grow.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in project/delivery management for IT.
- Wide experience in managing software delivery organizations (structures, resources, processes and goals).
- Wide experience in IT project management at the project and portfolio/program level.
- Strong knowledge of Agile software development methodologies.
- Good knowledge of Software engineering practices.
- Good knowledge and confident practical skills in Risk management.
- Strong experience in dependencies coordination, identification, and capturing all the nuances, obstacles, and important issues in focus to achieve goals.
- Good leadership and communication skills.
- Good experience in software delivery and feature support.
- Strong knowledge and practical skills of servant leadership principles, natural skills in facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continuous improvement, and empowerment.
- Good skills in stakeholder relationships and expectations management.
- Ability to engage with the client in technology discussions.
- B2 or higher English, both spoken and written.
Nice to have:
- Technical background in the development of complex distributed systems.
- Experience in budgeting for project portfolios and/or programs.
- Experience in running/organizing workshops and training sessions will be a plus.
- Professional Project Management/Agile certifications.
