SOFTSWISS is expanding its team and seeking an experienced Accountant to manage cash-related operations. This role involves daily processing of bank statements, corporate card transactions, and crypto payments, ensuring accuracy and timely reconciliation. The Accountant will control payment workflows, maintain vendor/customer data, classify cash flow items, and support monthly cash flow statements. They will also participate in budgeting and contribute to process automation, requiring strong Excel skills and familiarity with 1C, Xero, or similar systems.
Must Have:
  • Control payment workflows and daily processing of bank, corporate card, and crypto transactions.
  • Monitor accuracy of cash-related operations and reconcile intercompany accounts.
  • Manage payment requests, ensuring proper cash flow item classification.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on payment processing and data.
  • Maintain and enhance vendor/customer directory.
  • Prepare monthly cash flow statements and participate in budgeting.
  • Contribute to automation of cash flow and reporting processes.
  • Hold higher education in finance/accounting or related field.
  • Possess 2+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in international companies.
  • Proficient in English and Russian (Upper-Intermediate, written and oral).
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with 1C, Xero, or similar accounting software.
  • Ability to maintain accuracy with repetitive tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team.

Purpose of the role:

You will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of all cash-related operations, from daily bank and corporate card transactions to crypto payments and intercompany reconciliations. By maintaining full control over payment workflows, vendor and customer data, and classification of cash flow items, you will contribute directly to the integrity and reliability of the company’s financial processes. In addition, you will support the preparation of monthly cash flow statements, participate in budgeting, and actively contribute to the automation and improvement of reporting and payment processes. Your strong Excel skills, familiarity with 1C, Xero, or similar systems, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams will help streamline operations and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.

Key responsibilities:

  • Workflow and payments control
  • Daily processing of bank statements, corporate card transactions and crypto payments
  • Monitoring the accuracy of all cash-related operations · Intercompany accounts reconciliation
  • Working with payment requests (creation and review), ensuring proper classification of cash flow items
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams on payment processing, data exports and related matters
  • Work with the vender/customer directory: unification, maintenance, enhancement initiatives
  • Monthly preparation of CF statements
  • Participation in the automation of cash flow and reporting processes
  • Participation in the budgeting process
  • Other ad hoc work as required

Required Experience:

  • Higher education in finance/accounting or related
  • 2 years of relevant work experience preferably within international companies
  • English and Russian (at least Upper-Intermediate, both written and oral)
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with 1C and Xero or similar software
  • Ability to work with repetitive tasks and maintain accuracy, meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
