Project Manager - Core Banking

Looking for experienced Benking Project Managers for a Core Banking Application Migration for a Major Australian Bank. This role will include the management of intenral and external stakeholders management of a technical project team and liaising across multiple streams of work. Focus will be on key delivery dates and meeting customer expectations, ensuring that the objectives and outcomes are met within agreed timeframes, budget and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

Project Management:

Coordinate and triage incoming work requests

Manage estimation and resource assignment

Create and manage Project Schedules

Perform regular risk assessment and risk management

Develop regular status reporting

Work closely with the project team, showing understanding of their competing priorities

Manage the project through testing and implementation phases

Complete Project shutdown activities

Skills

Must have

5-10 years experience in Project Management in a Banking Finance Domain

A demonstrated record of successful delivery of projects

People and team leadership skills

Ability to work on multiple project assignments simultaneously

Solid knowledge of Banking and Finance industry

Strong Leadership and verbal and written communication skills

Disciplined and organized approach

Eagerness to learn, good initiative and flexibility

Eagerness to teach and to share their skills with team members

Nice to have

Experience in Hogan delivery projects
