Job Description

This Project Sales Representative role involves achieving sales targets within an assigned discount or profit goal, promoting Sika products by developing engineering specifications and contractor applications, and managing an assigned territory. The position requires maintaining a strong understanding of current product offerings, developing tailored sales action plans, fostering team communication, and making strategic business decisions. It is a hybrid role with 100% telecommuting permitted and 25% domestic travel required.
Must have:
  • Achieve sales targets within an assigned discount or profit goal.
  • Promote Sika products by developing engineering specifications and contractor applications.
  • Ensure comprehensive geographical coverage of the assigned territory.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of current product offerings and market applications.
  • Develop and implement tailored sales action plans for selected accounts.
  • Foster open communication with regional and cross-functional teams.
  • Support the company’s profitability by making informed, strategic decisions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, or a directly related field.
  • Two years of sales experience.
  • Two years of experience with SAP.
  • Two years of experience with Salesforce.
  • Two years of experience with Power BI.
  • Two years of experience with Microsoft.
  • Two years of experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Systems.

Responsibilities & Opportunities

Achieve sales targets within an assigned discount or profit goal, contributing to the overall success of the team. Promote Sika products by continuing to develop engineering specifications and contractor applications, fostering long-term relationships and growth. Ensure comprehensive geographical coverage of the assigned territory through an effective and efficient account management system. Maintain a strong understanding of current product offerings and market applications, staying ahead of industry trends. Develop and implement tailored sales action plans for selected accounts, addressing unique needs and opportunities. Foster open communication with regional and cross-functional teams, sharing key business insights and updates to drive alignment and collaboration. Support the company’s profitability by making informed, strategic decisions in all business transactions, ensuring sustainability and mutual success. Telecommuting permitted 100% of the time. 25% domestic travel required for internal and client meetings.

Salary range: $105,000 - $180,000

Preferred Skills

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, or a directly related field plus two (2) years of sales experience.

Must have at least two (2) years of experience with the following:

  • SAP;
  • Salesforce;
  • Power BI;
  • Microsoft; and
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Systems.

Telecommuting permitted 100% of the time. 25% domestic travel required for internal and client meetings.
