Job Description

The Machine Operator works with various raw materials to manufacture products, following specific instructions for quantities and production times. Responsibilities include operating diverse equipment, including forklifts for loading/unloading, coordinating manufacturing efforts, and conducting quality control. Candidates should have a high school diploma, the ability to understand work orders, read measuring devices, perform basic math, and comply with safety regulations. One year of manufacturing experience is helpful.
Must have:
  • Work with various raw materials in the manufacture of products
  • Follow specific instructions outlining designated quantities and production times
  • Operate various equipment in the manufacture of products
  • Operate forklift to load and/or unload raw materials and finished products
  • Coordinate manufacturing efforts and conduct quality control initiatives
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to understand and follow all written manufacturing work orders and verbal instructions
  • Read various measuring devices and perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Comply with all Safety Regulations
Good to have:
  • 1+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment

Job Details

Responsibilities & Opportunities

Works with various raw materials in the manufacture of products. Responsible for following specific instructions outlining designated quantities to be used and production times required. Operates various equipment in the manufacture of products; operates forklift to load and/or unload raw materials and finished products. Also, coordinates manufacturing efforts and conducts quality control initiatives.

Preferred Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment is helpful.
  • Requires up to six months on the job training to learn manufacturing process/procedures, packaging of finished products according to specifications, storing of raw materials and finished products, prepare routine paperwork required and any special projects or unusual aspects of the job.
  • Ability to understand and follow all written manufacturing work orders and verbal instructions. Read various measuring devices and perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Comply with all Safety Regulations, including, batch ticket safety equipment specifications or any other safety issues that may arise.
