The Supervisor Projects is responsible for guiding project team members to ensure all projects are meeting customer expectations. Manage relationships with vendors, coordinate with sales team to secure project bids, generate quotations, and provide support throughout the project lifecycle.
Must have:
  • Lead project house team members, coordinate assignments and efficiencies.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to negotiate and create strategies for securing project bids.
  • Develop positive customer relationships, resulting in high customer satisfaction.
  • Process, manage, and schedule orders for the projects department.
  • Manage suppliers to ensure on time delivery and compliance with job specifications.
  • Quote customers for any changes to original bill of material.
  • Ensure projects are meeting budget guidelines and project deadlines.
  • High School or GED.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and peers.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize job projects and requirements.
  • Detail oriented and possess excellent organizational, time management skills, and customer services skills.
  • Analytical with the ability to problem solve.
Good to have:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent.

Summary:

The Supervisor Projects is responsible for guiding project team members to ensure all projects are meeting customer expectations. Manage relationships with vendors, coordinate with sales team to secure project bids, generate quotations, and provide support throughout the project lifecycle.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead project house team members, coordinate assignments and efficiencies among the team
  • Coordinate with the sales team to negotiate and create strategies for securing project bids
  • Develop positive customer relationships, resulting in a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Process, manage, and schedule orders for the projects department including: order entry, editing, tracking, and filing
  • Help grow sales by managing vendor relationships, understanding profit and loss concepts, and working towards short and long terms goals of the team and company
  • Manage suppliers to ensure on time delivery and compliance with job specifications
  • Quote customers for any changes to original bill of material
  • Ensure projects are meeting budget guidelines and project deadlines
  • May be required to visit customers with outside sales staff or independently
  • Assist in customer claim resolution
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School or GED - Required
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent - Preferred
  • Must possess an entrepreneurial spirit, be self-motivated, and enthusiastic about business
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and peers
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize job projects and requirements
  • Must be detail oriented and possess excellent organizational, time management skills, and customer services skills
  • Must be analytical with the ability to problem solve
