Job Description

Valeo is seeking a Prototype Engineer to perform activities in compliance with the Engineering discipline Development Plan. Key responsibilities include reviewing internal and customer requirements, ensuring robust design and validation within economic targets, supporting technical architecture and standards, and following standardization rules. The role also involves assisting in design reviews, performing or supporting engineering design simulations, coding, validation, calculations, and tests, as well as reporting progress and escalating risks. This position is full-time and a permanent contract.

Must Have:

Perform activities in compliance with Engineering discipline Development Plan
Review Internal requirements, Customer Requirements, Specifications
In charge of the robust design / validation in line with the economical targets
Support technical architecture and standards assignments
Follow Standardization rules
Support design reviews, internal and with suppliers
Perform or support Engineering discipline design simulations/coding/validation
Perform or support Engineering discipline design calculations including worst case/statistical and support thermal studies
Perform or support Engineering disciplines tests
Reports the progress of his tasks
Escalate risks

Review Internal requirements, Customer Requirements, Specifications
In charge of the robust design / validation in line with the economical targets
Support technical architecture and standards assignments
Follow Standardization rules
Support design reviews, internal and with suppliers

His/her scope could include: all or part of the design, integration, validation of blocks / product

Complying with Engineering disciplines processes and Design Rules:

Perform or support Engineering discipline design simulations/coding/validation
Perform or support Engineering discipline design calculations including worst case/statistical and support thermal studies
Perform or support Engineering disciplines tests

Management follow-up

Reports the progress of his tasks
Escalate risks
