QA Automation Engineer

Position Overview:

We are looking for talented Quality Assurance Engineers that can help us test this critical program. You would be working closely with the Product team to plan new features, partner with developers to test these features, and collaborate across multiple teams to deploy and monitor releases.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Playwright/Selenium.
• Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman or Rest Assured, ensuring accuracy and reliability of endpoints.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Conduct backend data validation using SQL queries.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) to ensure continuous quality.
• Document and track defects using test management tools such as TestRail, Xray, and JIRA.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and perform testing on cloud-based platforms (e.g., Sauce Labs).
• Contribute to test planning, estimation, and reporting using industry-standard frameworks (Allure, Extent).
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality improvements.
• Explore and implement AI-powered testing solutions for enhanced automation efficiency.

Basic Qualifications:

• 6–9 years of experience in Quality Assurance experience
• At least 3–4 years of Hands on exp in test automation (Playwright/Selenium).
• Strong experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Python.
• Hands-on experience in API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools.
• Strong QA mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of SQL for backend data validation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI.
• Familiarity with test management tools (TestRail, Xray, JIRA) and reporting frameworks (Allure, Extent, etc.).
• Knowledge of cross-browser testing and cloud testing platforms (Sauce Labs) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of eCommerce workflows (experience in eCommerce domain is a plus).
• Exposure to AI-powered testing tools (e.g., self-healing automation, AI-based test case generation, etc).
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, capable of working in fast-paced environments.
