The QA Engineer III will be responsible for creating and executing tests to identify software issues before product launch. This role involves identifying, analyzing, and documenting bugs, collaborating with developers for fixes, and ensuring software quality. Must have:
  • Develops and executes comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Performs thorough manual and automated testing.
  • Creates and maintains automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
  • Conducts regression testing to ensure software stability.
  • Executes end-to-end functional tests to validate complete workflows.
  • Identifies, documents, and tracks software defects using bug-tracking systems.
  • Analyzes test results and provides detailed reports to development and product teams.
  • Contributes to the development and implementation of QA strategies and processes.
  • Defines and tracks key quality metrics (KPIs) to monitor product quality.
  • Participates in requirements reviews and design discussions.
  • Evaluates and recommends testing tools and technologies.
  • Develops and maintains test environments.
  • Collaborates with development teams for clear communication and issue resolution.
  • Provides mentorship and guidance to junior QA engineers.
  • Leads and participates in process improvement initiatives.
  • Monitors project quality status and progress, providing regular updates.
  • Participates in risk assessment and mitigation activities.
  • Contributes to the continuous improvement of the QA process by implementing industry best practices.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

About the QA Engineer III Role:

The QA Engineer III will be responsible for the creation of tests to identify issues with software before the product launch. In this role, this person will identify and analyze any bugs and errors found during the test phase, and document them for the review. The person will collaborate with software developers to fix program issues.

  • Creates and maintains automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks
  • Conducts regression testing to ensure software stability

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Relevant certifications in software testing, such as ISTQB or similar
  • Proficient in using industry-standard testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG
  • Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling
  • Strong programming skills like JavaScript, Java, Python, and C#
  • Ability to write and maintain efficient and scalable automated test scripts
  • Solid understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX
  • Experience testing web applications across multiple browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari)
  • Proficient in testing RESTful APIs
  • Knowledge of JSON and XML data formats
  • Ability to write and execute SQL queries to perform database testing
  • Experience with relational database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Travis CI, or GitLab CI
  • Experience in testing mobile applications on different platforms (iOS, Android)
  • Knowledge of security testing practices and tools for identifying vulnerabilities
  • Proficient in using test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication skills
  • Leadership skills to guide and mentor junior team members
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies
  • Must be willing to travel if needed
  • Must be willing to work extended hours if needed
  • Valid work authorization required
