Zeeco is a global leader in combustion and environmental solutions, supporting global projects from India. This QA/QC Engineer role, based in Mumbai, focuses heavily on project documentation (70-80%) and technical coordination for engineered equipment. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in EPC, oil & gas, or mechanical project environments, liaising with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure documentation excellence and quality support.
Must have:
  • Prepare and manage technical project documentation, including drawings, BOMs, compliance certificates, inspection reports, and final dossiers.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, project management) and external vendors to gather, track, and submit documentation.
  • Support QA/QC processes by facilitating and attending inspections (e.g., FATs), compiling inspection reports, and liaising with quality personnel and clients.
  • Maintain document logs, track submittals and approvals, and ensure compliance with client and industry requirements.
  • Communicate with clients on documentation submissions, clarifications, and timelines.
  • Support quality functions by compiling Manufacturing Record Books (MRBs), inspection checklists, and delivery certifications.
  • Assist in documentation and resolution of non-conformities or deviations as needed.
  • B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical.
  • 3–5 years of experience in documentation, project engineering, or quality support in an EPC or fabrication environment.
  • Familiarity with ASME/API documentation requirements and basic inspection procedures (e.g., NDT, FAT).
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), AutoCAD, and ERP systems.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple documentation flows in parallel.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in follow-ups.
Good to have:
  • Experience in client-facing documentation roles within oil & gas or industrial projects.
  • Exposure to vendor, sub-vendor, and third-party inspector coordination.
  • Working knowledge of P&IDs, valve data sheets, or pressure part drawings.
  • Familiarity with technical compliance standards and final dossier compilation.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a QA/QC Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in project documentation, technical coordination, and quality support for engineered equipment projects. This role is documentation-focused (approximately 70–80%) and is well-suited for professionals experienced in EPC, oil & gas, or mechanical project environments who can effectively liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
