Job Description

Join a strategic initiative to transform the Loan Analytics platform for a leading financial institution. This role involves leveraging modern technologies, data, and automation to optimize risk forecasting, portfolio analytics, and financing systems. You will lead a global QA team, define strategy, oversee testing, and collaborate with development and business stakeholders to ensure quality, resilience, and reliability in financial markets decision-making.

  • Experience in managing QA for electronic trading platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Murex).
  • Exposure to modern front-end technologies (e.g., OpenFin applications).
Must Have:
  • Define and drive overall QA strategy aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a global team of QA engineers.
  • Oversee automation, performance, and system testing strategies.
  • Collaborate with architecture and development leads to embed quality practices.
  • Establish test governance, metrics, and reporting.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate financial requirements into testing strategies.
  • Proactively manage risks and troubleshoot QA environment issues.
  • Leverage domain expertise in loans, financing, and capital markets.
  • Proven experience in QA leadership within large-scale financial/banking environments.
  • Trading platforms experience is a must-have.
  • Automation experience is preferable, but manual testing is acceptable.
  • Excellent understanding of SQL, UNIX, and distributed systems.
  • Ability to work effectively with globally distributed teams.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
  • Domain knowledge in investment banking products and loan/portfolio analytics systems.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps (CI/CD, Boards, Test Plans).

The program leverages modern technologies, data, and automation to optimize risk forecasting, portfolio analytics, and financing systems. You'll play a key leadership role in ensuring the quality, resilience, and reliability of a system that powers decision-making in the financial markets—from underwriting to real-time monitoring. You will be part of cross-functional, international QA function working at the intersection of finance and technology. The broader program team includes senior engineers, business analysts, product owners, and domain specialists delivering cutting-edge solutions in capital markets and risk technology. It is a fast-paced, collaborative environment where innovation, ownership, and high standards of quality are critical to success.

##### Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the overall QA strategy for the program, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Build, mentor and lead a global team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee automation, performance, and system testing strategies, balancing hands-on technical involvement with team leadership.
  • Collaborate closely with architecture and development leads to embed quality practices throughout the SDLC.
  • Establish test governance, metrics, and reporting to ensure transparency and predictability of deliveries.
  • Partner with business stakeholders and product owners to translate complex financial requirements into effective testing strategies.
  • Proactively manage risks, troubleshoot critical QA environment issues and resolve blockers to ensure timely, high-quality releases.
  • Leverage domain expertise in loans, financing, and capital markets to guide testing priorities and validate business-critical scenarios.

##### Skills

Must have

  • Proven experience in a QA leadership role within large-scale, complex financial or banking environments.
  • Trading platforms experience (Must have)
  • automation preferable but can be manual
  • Excellent understanding of SQL, UNIX and distributed systems.
  • Ability to work effectively with globally distributed teams and influence across business and technology units.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management and decision-making skills.
  • Domain knowledge in investment banking products (equities, derivatives, FX) and loan/portfolio analytics systems.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps (CI/CD, Boards, Test Plans).

Nice to have
