Your daily life
The Gennevilliers Campus is the heart of design, development, and support activities for major defense systems: radio communications, resilient infrastructure networks and systems, satellite communications, collaborative combat, and cybersecurity. Located north of Paris, it is quickly accessible by public transport.
Attached to the Mobile Networks (MNW) sector, Systems Engineering Department (DIS) and its France Systems Validation (VSF) activity, you will participate in the IVVQ System team's activities for tactical network and SATCOM network projects, in an activity domain predominantly military telecom systems (mainly for SYRACUSE and ASTRIDE affairs).
You are hierarchically responsible for all activities contributing to the deployment of systems on operational sites.
YOUR MISSIONS:
YOUR PROFILE:
You have experience in executing large Telecom type contracts with a system architecture.
Have you previously held a position as: Service Manager, or Department Engineering Manager? Or a position as a Network Test, Integration Team Manager in terms of technical steering, delivery?
You have good technical knowledge of deployment activities in a telecom context. Knowledge of satellite communication networks (high-frequency transmission issues, etc.) is desirable.
You have very good listening, communication, understanding/rephrasing skills for the needs of IVVQ Managers to be able to grasp the different challenges of multi-project deliverables.
You have good knowledge of activity processes and constraints (security, prevention, necessary authorizations, etc.).
You understand the technologies used:
You have good organizational skills allowing you to adapt dynamically and flexibly to the inherent hazards of the activity.
Ideally, you are familiar with the DDQS Chorus 2.0 Thales processes.
You are recognized for your ability to lead an integrated team on complex Systems and your ability to structure and organize your work in a multidisciplinary team context.
You are comfortable with oral communication both internally and with the Client.
A WORD FROM THE TEAM / MANAGER
You have the opportunity to strengthen the MNW/DIS/VSF competence center for several large Systems already deployed operationally.
You will thus have the opportunity to participate in the support of deployed versions, in the development of versions currently under development, in their qualification with the end Client until their operational deployment, allowing you to offer excellent visibility over a long period for each notified System version (between one and a half to two years per version). The offer teams are already preparing for the future with the objective of contracting the evolutions of future System versions.
