Job Description

The Toulouse site is responsible for satellite system engineering, design and production of payloads, and the development and qualification of ground segments. This role involves organizing IVQ activities for the mission and security segments of the G1G (Galileo 2nd Generation) project. The manager will define and apply the IVQ strategy, coordinate teams, manage planning, prioritize anomaly corrections, and report progress internally and to the ESA client.

Must Have:
  • Define and apply the IVQ strategy to teams.
  • Coordinate activities of different IVQ teams to maximize reuse.
  • Define and control the IVQ activity planning, including PI plannings.
  • Prioritize and track anomaly correction requests.
  • Coordinate and report progress internally and to the ESA client.
  • Significant and proven experience (minimum 5 years) in Test, Integration, Verification, Validation.
  • Solid experience as an IVQ Manager for software-intensive systems and SAFe organization.
  • Leadership, rigor, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in English.

Your daily life

The Toulouse site is responsible for satellite system engineering, the design and production of payloads, as well as the development and qualification of ground segments. It integrates a research center and an industrial accelerator for start-ups and ventures.

You will organize IVQ activities for the mission and security segments of the G1G project (Galileo 2nd Generation).

Within a SAFe organization, you will need to start and then manage IVQ activities within the Agile Release Trains and at the solution level.

Your main missions will be:

  • Define the IVQ strategy and then ensure its application by the teams
  • Coordinate the activities of the different IVQ teams, particularly to maximize reuse
  • Define and control the planning of IVQ activities, among other things through PI plannings, based on subsystem deliveries
  • Prioritize anomaly correction requests and then follow them up
  • Coordinate and report progress internally and to the ESA client

Your Profile

Are you a graduate of an engineering school (Electronics, Aeronautics / Space, Computer Science, etc.) or a university program with a Master 2 (BAC +5) and have significant and proven experience (minimum 5 years) in the following areas: Test, Integration, Verification, Validation?

Do you have solid experience as an IVQ Manager for software-intensive systems (systems using containerization would be a plus) and SAFe organization?

Are you recognized for your leadership, rigor, and excellent interpersonal skills?

Do you speak English?

Are you not opposed to occasional travel in Europe?
