Job Summary
Wolters Kluwer is seeking a Project Manager – Communications Operations to join its Global Branding, Communications and Marketing (GBCM) team. This role involves leading operational initiatives to enable impactful global communications, establishing scalable processes, driving cross-functional alignment, and supporting global communication campaigns. The ideal candidate is a strategic, tech-savvy communications expert with strong project management skills, capable of influencing change and fostering collaboration across global teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Must Have
- Design and implement standardized processes and procedures for internal communications.
- Serve as the operational lead for communications projects within the global communications team.
- Manage the distribution of communication content and materials to offices worldwide.
- Chair alignment meetings and coordinate the rollout of campaign toolkits and materials.
- Maintain and manage the annual communications calendar for central, functional, and other campaigns.
- Lead the adoption of Monday.com as the project management platform across GBCM.
- Manage vendor relationships and support GBCM program management and leadership team operations.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a communications, marketing, or corporate affairs environment.
- Strong understanding of messaging, channels, and audience engagement.
- Proficient in project management platforms (e.g. Monday.com, Asana) and internal communication platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite, including Viva Engage).
- Skilled at building relationships, influencing stakeholders, and driving change across teams.
- Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills.
- Expert-level attention to detail and deadline-oriented.

The GBCM team supports the organization globally, interacting across multiple major time zones.
As part of this mission, we’re looking for a motivated and skilled Project Manager – Communications Operations to join our team.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for a passionate Communications Project Manager for our Communications Operations team - someone who is more than just an organizer. You are a strategic thinker, a natural influencer, and a champion of effective practices. This role requires energy, creativity, and the ability to elevate ways of working and inspire change across the global teams.
As part of the GBCM team, you will lead operational initiatives that will enable impactful global communications. This role will focus on establishing scalable processes, driving cross-functional alignment, and supporting the execution of global communication campaigns and tools. Success in this role means combining project management expertise with a deep understanding of communications to deliver on time and high-quality outcomes. This role reports into the Director, Communications Operations Center of Excellence. This role also requires to work with our US-based colleagues.
The ideal candidate is:
- A communications expert who understands messaging, channels and audience engagement and has solid experience in this area
- Strategic and tech-savvy, with the ability to leverage project management tools such as Monday.com, Asana or similar platforms
- People-minded and influential, capable of building strong relationships and driving change in a complex matrixed environment
- Highly enthusiastic, bringing energy and creativity to elevate our communications approach

Key Responsibilities:
Operational Project Management
- Design and implement standardized processes and procedures for internal communications (e.g., announcements, channel governance, approval workflows).
- Serve as the operational lead for communications projects within the global communications team, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment across teams.
Global Coordination & Alignment
- Manage the distribution of communication content and materials to offices worldwide.
- Enable visibility into in-office activities and engagement programs across Wolters Kluwer offices worldwide (e.g., social committees).
- Chair alignment meetings and coordinate the rollout of campaign toolkits and materials across business units and functions.
Campaign & Calendar Management
- Maintain and manage the annual communications calendar for central, functional, and other campaigns.
- Provide backup support for the distribution of all central and functional content, ensuring continuity and quality.
Tools & Vendor Oversight
- Lead the adoption of Monday.com as the project management platform across GBCM.
- Manage vendor relationships and support GBCM program management and leadership team operations, including meeting facilitation, documentation, and strategic planning support.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field; PMP certification is a plus.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a communications, marketing, or corporate affairs environment.
- Communications Expertise: Strong understanding of messaging, channels, and audience engagement, with experience shaping communication initiatives with expert-level attention to detail and deadline-oriented.
- Project Management Excellence: Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects and drive adoption of new processes and tools.
- Tech-Savvy: proficient in project management platforms (e.g. Monday.com, Asana) and internal communication platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite, including Viva Engage).
- Influence & Change Management: skilled at building relationships, influencing stakeholders, and driving change across teams.
- Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills.
- Expert-level attention to detail and deadline-oriented.
- Resilience: Comfortable working in dynamic, high-pressure situations and contributing effectively, and efficiently to crisis communication efforts.
- Global Collaboration: Comfortable working across time zones and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Travel: Travel will be minimal.
