The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring JMA’s products and services meet established quality standards and customer expectations. Develops and implements quality management strategies, sets quality standards, and ensures alignment with business objectives. Leads and manages a team of quality professionals in tasks related to establishing and maintaining a quality function including quality engineering, quality control, quality assurance, quality management system and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards that align with industry regulations and best practices.
- Implement standardized quality control and quality assurance processes across the organization.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and training to team members to enhance their skills and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with product design engineering in new product introductions ensuring an effective quality program in support of product development and production needs.
- Conduct regular inspections and tests on products or services to identify defects or deviations from quality standards.
- Collaborate with production to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure that all employees are trained in quality procedures and understand their roles in maintaining quality.
- Implement, maintain and improve compliance to ISO9001, ISO14001 compliant quality management system.
- Maintain records, metrics of quality control tests, inspections, and audits highlighting trends, issues, and improvement opportunities.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and quality enhancement.
- Execute customer product return processing and analysis.
- Gather customer feedback and analyze it to identify areas for improvement.
- Foster open communication channels across departments regarding quality-related matters.
- Collaborate with key functions to address quality issues and implement solutions.
- Identify potential risks to product quality and process execution and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 4 year technical or engineering degree (i.e. electrical, mechanical, statistics, STEM), Master’s degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of Quality Management experience leading a team.
- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams involved in product design, manufacturing, testing, and quality control. Effective communication and collaboration.
- Effective written and verbal communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Project management and cross-functional team leadership experience.
- Lean, Six Sigma, Operational Excellence certification. Skilled in continuous improvement methodologies a plus.
- Proficient in using quality tools such as SPC, Gage R&R, MSA, and capability studies, etc.
- Experience with RF products is a plus.
$115,000 - $135,000 a year
The U.S. national annual base salary range for this role is $115-135K a year. The range includes the base salary that is expected to be paid for this role. Actual base salary will be based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to the scope and complexity of the role, the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and knowledge, peer and market data and geographic location. This role will also be bonus eligible.
