The Receiving Manager will coordinate daily warehouse receiving operations, overseeing associates involved in the receiving process and supporting other building operations as needed. This role involves coordinating the receiving area's needs with other parts of the building to complete daily work assignments efficiently and safely. Responsibilities include directing hourly associates to complete workflow, coordinating labor for tasks, managing system processes like Host and WM functions, and maintaining internal reporting. Effective communication with area leadership and internal business partners is crucial for resolving merchandise receipt and freight flow issues. The manager will also ensure training for new and existing staff, maintain field work processes, system procedures, and safety protocols, and collaborate with management to provide high-level internal customer service.
