Job Description
The Host for Monster Jam will announce scripted elements during live events, maintain radio communication with the Tour Manager or Production Stage Manager, and provide live commentary. Responsibilities include announcing sponsor lists, onsite promotions, and interviewing performers and sponsors. Candidates should have previous live event announcing experience, preferably in motor sports or radio, and possess knowledge of Monster Jam events.
Good To Have:
- Experience in Motor Sports or radio announcing
- Ability to read and translate scripts
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to bend, stoop, lift and may require the use of a ladder
- Occasionally lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to prioritize duties for effective and successful events
- Availability to work extended hours, holidays and weekends
- Dedicated, reliable and punctual
- Demonstrate positive and professional behavior
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and be a team player
