Job Description
The Security Guard 3rd Shift - FT at Feld Entertainment Inc. is responsible for providing comprehensive security tasks and post duties. This includes maintaining entry and egress access control, operating advanced security systems like video surveillance and visitor management, and conducting roving patrols. The role involves verifying visitor and employee identification, preparing incident reports, and monitoring various alarm systems. The guard will also respond to life safety duties and ensure daily patrol reports are completed, contributing to a safe and secure facility environment.
Good To Have:
- First Aid / CPR trained or certified preferred.
Must Have:
- Maintain entry and egress access control to facility grounds.
- Operate Feld Entertainment access control, video surveillance, and visitor management systems.
- Conduct roving patrols of interior and exterior building areas.
- Verify visitor and building employee identification.
- Prepare incident and daily operating reports.
- Monitor and respond to building intrusion detection systems.
- Monitor alarms and fire detection equipment.
- Respond as necessary to support other life safety duties.
- Complete daily patrol reports to supervisor.
- Read, be well spoken, and verify understanding of Post Orders.
- Possess prior security experience in a large facility environment or law enforcement.
- Use of computer and basic programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Able to stand for long periods of time in outside, covered, and uncovered area.
- Experience with crowd control.
- Demonstrate excellent conflict resolution and crisis management skills.
- Ability to read and write, effectively communicate, and understand basic instructions.
Essential Functions
- Maintain entry and egress access control to facility grounds.
- Ability to operate Feld Entertainment access control, video surveillance, and visitor management systems (training will be provided).
- Roving patrols of interior and exterior building areas.
- Visitor and building employee identification verification.
- Incident and daily operating reports.
- Monitoring and responding to building intrusion detection systems.
- Monitoring alarms and fire detection equipment.
- Responding as necessary to support other life safety duties as identified in “Post Orders” and standard operating procedures.
- Complete daily patrol reports to supervisor.
Qualifications
- Security officers will be required to read, be well spoken, and verify they understand Post Orders.
- Prior security experience in a large facility environment or law enforcement.
- Use of computer and basic programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
