Job Summary

The Regional Advisor cum Regional Coordinator – South Asia will support recruitment growth for London South Bank University across India and neighboring markets. This hybrid role involves managing agent and student inquiries, providing accurate information on courses, scholarships, and application procedures, and assisting in coordinating regional marketing and administrative activities. The advisor will also support recruitment and conversion targets, maintain CRM data, and contribute to market engagement efforts.

Must Have

  • Serve as the first point of contact for all agent and student enquiries from South Asia.
  • Respond to queries promptly and professionally via email, phone, or virtual platforms.
  • Provide accurate and updated information on courses, entry requirements, scholarships, visa processes, and application procedures.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service, ensuring a positive and efficient experience for all stakeholders.
  • Log all communications and outcomes accurately in the CRM system.
  • Support the regional team in achieving recruitment and conversion targets.
  • Assist agents and applicants in understanding the admissions process and next steps after application submission.
  • Coordinate offer-holder communications, pre-departure sessions, and webinars.
  • Follow up with agents and students to ensure timely document submission and deposit payments.
  • Share feedback and trends from applicants and agents with the wider recruitment team to enhance service delivery.
  • Coordinate and schedule regional activities, such as university visits, training sessions, and events.
  • Support logistics and communication for academic or central LSBU staff visiting the region.
  • Assist in maintaining up-to-date records, reports, and dashboards to track regional progress.
  • Prepare periodic updates on application volumes, offer rates, and visa outcomes.
  • Work closely with the Head of Recruitment – South Asia to ensure smooth regional operations.
  • Provide agents and applicants with updated marketing materials and course information.
  • Support the promotion of LSBU’s events, scholarships, and campaigns through approved channels.
  • Participate in limited in-person events or training sessions (up to 20% travel within the region).
  • Help identify outreach opportunities in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities for future engagement.
  • Maintain accurate data in the CRM system, ensuring all interactions are properly recorded.
  • Generate regular reports on enquiry handling, response time, and agent activity.
  • Support data accuracy and contribute to the regional performance analysis.

Good to Have

  • Postgraduate or international higher education study experience.
  • Experience representing UK or international universities.
  • Familiarity with UKVI and the UK higher education system.
  • Experience of effectively using CRM and data management tools, virtual engagement platforms, and productivity tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience handling student applications or coordinating regional operations.

Job Description

Location: India (preferably Delhi, Mumbai, or Bangalore)

Working arrangement: Hybrid

Note- This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing flexibility between working from home and our office.

Typically, employees are expected to work 2 days in the office per week.

The Role:

The Regional Advisor cum Regional Coordinator – South Asia will be responsible for supporting recruitment growth across India and neighboring markets by providing timely and accurate information to agents, prospective students, and internal teams. This role involves managing inbound queries, ensuring smooth communication between stakeholders, and assisting in the coordination of regional marketing, recruitment, and administrative activities.

To strengthen our presence and engagement in South Asia, LSBU seeks a motivated and well-organised Regional Advisor cum Regional Coordinator who will support student recruitment activities, manage agent and student communication, and coordinate key regional operations.

Role responsibilities:

Agent and Student Communication

Key skills and experience:

Essential Requirements

  • Educated to a first-degree level or equivalent professional experience, particularly in the higher education sector.
  • Strong proficiency in English, with advanced communication skills (spoken and written).
  • Understanding of international student recruitment and engagement practices.
  • Familiarity with working alongside educational agencies in India and the South Asia region.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • An awareness of issues in marketing educational services in an international context.
  • Sensitive to intellectual property and data protection

Highly Desirable Criteria

  • Postgraduate or international higher education study experience
