Fanatee is looking for a detail-oriented and culturally fluent Regional Editor who lives in Mexico to refine and localize content for the Mexican market. The role involves reviewing and adapting in-game content to ensure it's engaging, culturally relevant, and linguistically accurate for players in Mexico. Responsibilities include reviewing and localizing in-game content for the Mexican audience, curating culturally relevant quotes, and providing feedback to improve user experience and content quality.

Must Have:
  • Native fluency in Mexican Spanish and deep familiarity with Mexican culture.
  • Strong command of grammar, spelling, and usage specific to Mexico.
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

About the Role:
Fanatee is seeking a detail-oriented and culturally fluent Regional Editor who lives in Mexico to help refine and localize content for the Mexican market. In this freelance, part-time role, you will play a key part in reviewing and adapting in-game content to ensure it's engaging, culturally relevant, and linguistically accurate for players in Mexico.

Responsibilities:
- Review and localize in-game content to ensure high relevance and accuracy for the Mexican audience.
- Review upcoming puzzles for the next game cycle, ensuring they align with the cultural and linguistic preferences of Mexican players.
- Curate and input culturally relevant quotes from local authors for features like trivia or other in-game elements.
- Provide actionable feedback and suggestions to improve user experience and content quality.

Requirements:
- Must live in Mexico/ Latin America
- Native fluency in Mexican Spanish and deep familiarity with Mexican culture, idioms, and slang.
- Strong command of grammar, spelling, and usage specific to Mexico.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Linguistics, Spanish Language, Writing, or a related field.
- Prior experience in content editing, localization, or game content is a plus.
- Passion for word games, language, and cultural storytelling.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
