Aptiv is seeking a Reliability Engineer to join their team in Lisbon, Portugal. This role involves coordinating new equipment releases, executing Component Risk Assessment (CRA) studies, and managing surveillance routines. The engineer will also be responsible for equipment specification release, participating in problem-solving activities, and contributing to process improvements. The position requires an engineering background with strong statistical analysis, data analysis, and communication skills, focusing on enabling sustainable mobility and preventing accidents.
Must have:
  • Coordinate activities/execute new equipment release requested by ME team as ready for verification
  • Componentes Risk Assessment (CRA) studies execution for all new businesses and requested engineering changes
  • Coordinate surveillance routines execution and follow ups with involved persons
  • Specification release for new equipments ROB/Assembly
  • Participate as team member in problems solving activities
  • Participate as team member in Eng Change Notice rewiew to assest fesability
  • Cooperate with local Process team and MEC team in process improvements
  • Maintain CRA content updated to standardize its utilization in the sites
  • Develop reliability tools for High Voltage business

Your role:

Your Background :

  • Engineering background (Mechanical, Materials, Physics, Chemical, Industrial, or similar) with a strong understanding of how machines work.
  • Experience in an industrial environment (food, chemical, automotive, textile, etc.)
  • Strong statistical analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with data analysis and measurement system evaluations.
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate complex data clearly.
  • Team player with strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Fluent in English; French is a plus.
