Job Summary
The Vision-Applied Research team at ByteDance is seeking a Research Scientist to contribute to cutting-edge research and development in Generative AI and Computer Vision. You will focus on applied research in areas like generative models, image generation, video synthesis, intelligent editing, and virtual humans. Your work will directly impact ByteDance products, making it easier for users to create and share content.
Must Have
- 2+ years of research experience in CV areas
- Expertise in generative models, diffusion models, GAN
- Strong coding skills in C/C++ and Python
- Conduct cutting-edge research and development
- Transfer advanced technologies to Bytedance products

Job Description
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $187040 - $280000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
