Job Description

Greenworks, a global manufacturer of residential and commercial products, seeks a Reverse Logistics Operations Manager. This role involves managing the end-to-end process for returns and open-box items to maximize revenue, ensuring product verification, and maintaining accurate inventory. Responsibilities include implementing safety protocols with root cause analysis, utilizing SAP/ERP and Microsoft Office, and performing process mapping. The manager will handle Hazmat/IATA procedures for global shipping, communicate effectively for problem resolution, and escalate compliance concerns. Additional duties involve 5S implementation, training new associates, partnering with sales for custom packaging, and establishing refurbishment layouts and quality control processes to reduce labor and increase efficiency. The position requires a strong understanding of safety, process improvement, and effective communication.
Must have:

  • Ability to lift 5-50lbs
  • Ability to squat, bend, stoop, turn, twist
  • Ability to travel 25%

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Passion for Safety:
    • Keeping the work space clean and the associates around you safe.
      • Correct Safety issues. Apply root cause analysis tools to determine cause of issues and implement actions to reduce occurrences in the future.
      • Passion for 5S.
    • Computer Experience: SAP/ERP, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD,  
    • Process Flow:
    • Verification Process:
      •  
      • Start to Finish process mapping with critical to quality check points developed
      • Returns and open box processing to highest standard generating maximum revenue
      • Product verification: weights and dimensions and pack spec
      • Maintaining accurate inventory levels throughout RMA and Return Process
      • Preparing product for shipment
      • Occasionally cross level HC throughout DC to maximize process flow and efficiency.
      • Hazmat/IATA – trained on proper procedures of handling hazmat merchandise for global shipping
  • Communication
    • Problem resolution
    • Escalate compliance concerns to supervisor and management
    • Proper Inventory of orders to customers and businesses
  • Other Responsibilities
    • 5S
    • Teaching/ Coaching/ Developing new associates as available
    • Partner with various departments in Sales to prepare finished goods in alternate packing configurations for shipment to customers.
    • Implementation of layout and processes for refurb as agreed upon including RMA receiving process, work instructions and training
    • Demonstration to significantly reduce required labor / unit while maintaining and significantly increase output / efficiency
    • Implement quality control process

Elimination of any overflow space area for refurb.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Basic Math
  • Basic Computer Knowledge
  • Ability to read and comprehend SOP / Instructions for stacking pallets correctly
  • Ability to use a manual or motorized pallet jack
  • Ability to lift 5- 50lbs or team lift 50+lbs throughout shift
  • Ability to squat, bend, stoop, turn, twist, forward, backward, side to side motion throughout shift.
  • Ability to travel 25%
  • Ability to successfully complete and pass all pre-employment screening and drug test.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • 4 year degree preferred
  • Leadership experience in Manufacturing- 5 Years
  • Process improvement and development experience
