Xsolla is seeking a Risk Data Analyst to join their antifraud team, focusing on developing advanced payment security systems for the gaming industry. The role involves analyzing payment traffic for fraud, developing anomaly detection algorithms, building analytical reports, and contributing to the internal antifraud system. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset and a desire to impact product development.
Good To Have:
  • Experience with Python (pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy, etc.).
  • Understanding of machine learning concepts and automated data analysis.
  • Background in gaming, payment systems, or antifraud technologies.
Must Have:
  • Analyze payment traffic to identify trends, patterns, and potential fraud schemes.
  • Develop and automate algorithms for anomaly detection and fraud prevention.
  • Build analytical reports and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in designing, developing, and improving the company’s internal antifraud system.
  • Optimize and enhance monitoring and incident response processes.
  • Collaborate with payment providers, partners, and internal teams.
  • 3+ years of experience in fintech, e-commerce, or risk & fraud analytics.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or analytical field.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience working with large, diverse datasets.
  • Strong data visualization and reporting skills.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and risk assessment approaches.
  • English proficiency – Intermediate level or higher for professional communication.

  • Analyze payment traffic to identify trends, patterns, and potential fraud schemes.
  • Develop and automate algorithms for anomaly detection and fraud prevention.
  • Build analytical reports and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in designing, developing, and improving the company’s internal antifraud system.
  • Optimize and enhance monitoring and incident response processes.
  • Collaborate with payment providers, partners, and internal teams.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in fintech, e-commerce, or risk & fraud analytics.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or analytical field.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience working with large, diverse datasets.
  • Strong data visualization and reporting skills.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and risk assessment approaches.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio (preferred).
  • English proficiency – Intermediate level or higher for professional communication.

Nice to Have
