Rotordynamics Engineer

This position requires a highly experienced rotordynamics engineer to develop solutions to unique or complex problems which have important effects on major programs. The individual will join a senior staff engaged in design and analysis activities related to rocket engine turbomachinery. Candidate will report status and document results of analyses performed.

Must Have

• 9+ years of rotordynamics experience in aerospace turbomachinery development and production programs
• Performing rotordynamics analysis
• Review of turbomachinery high frequency data
• Advanced knowledge of rotordynamics principles, theories, and concepts
• Experience with performing rotordynamic analyses utilizing classical approaches and modeling
• Experience conducting rotordynamic analyses in support of turbomachinery development and production related issues
• Related B.S. or graduate degree

Good to Have

• Familiarity with correlating analyses and high frequency dynamic data

Required Experience:

• 9+ years of rotordynamics experience (B.S. or graduate degree count towards years of experience) in support of aerospace turbomachinery development and production programs. This includes performing rotordynamics analysis in addition to review of turbomachinery high frequency data.
• It requires advanced knowledge of principles, theories, and concepts, plus an extended knowledge of principles and practices in closely related disciplines.
• This position requires the candidate to have experience with performing rotordynamic analyses utilizing classical approaches and modeling.
• Experience conducting rotordynamic analyses in support of turbomachinery development and production related issues is required.
• Familiarity with correlating analyses and high frequency dynamic data desired.
