Ruby Engineer

Role Overview

• Designing, building, and maintaining reliable, high-performance code.
• Developing tools and frameworks to improve development workflows.
• Ensuring test coverage and maintaining documentation for new code.
• Collaborating effectively within the team — solve problems, share knowledge, and align on technical approaches together.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Strong professional experience in full-stack development.
• 3+ years of experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
• Experience with React or other frontend technologies.
• Solid experience with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
• Experience building and deploying production APIs.
• Previous experience working with Docker.
• Basic knowledge of working in a Linux environment.
• Familiarity with Redis and/or Memcached.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
